Our supplier says: “Each beef tendon has been baked. There will be a variation in thickness, weight, and length. These skinny tendons have very little smell and are cleaner and less greasy compared to other tendons. Tendons are rich in collagen, glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, and elastin, which are nutrients that may have some health benefits for joints, skin, and hair. Tendons are also low in fat, so this is a very appropriate chew for dogs who are on a weight management regimen or for dogs with sensitive stomachs.” We recommend the extra large tendons for medium, large, and extra large breeds.
