Fetch! Antler Burr Rope Toy
About this chew
This is a My Antler Dog Chews original — we make every one of these by hand in our own shop. A fresh, hand-cut, naturally shed elk antler burr is fixed to the end of a 100% cotton rope.
The weight of the burr means you can actually throw it a distance, which is the whole point. Then when the fetching is done, your dog has a real antler chew to settle down with. We made the first ones for our own dogs and quickly discovered how many hours of entertainment they got out of them.

Shipping & returns
We ship across the United States, usually within one business day. Because antler is priced and graded by weight, shipping is calculated from the actual weight of your order and shown at checkout.
Any problem with your order, contact Emily on (219) 384-1033 or [email protected] and she will put it right.
Every size, side by side
Which size fits your dog?
We grade and price by weight, because just like finger prints, no two antler are the same. Pick a row to select that size.
The rule of thumb
Your dog should be able to hold it between their paws and get their mouth around it without it disappearing.
When to size up
Go one size larger if your dog is a genuinely aggressive chewer, or has destroyed chews you expected to last.
Why we price by weight
Length and shape vary from antler to antler, so grading by length would be meaningless. Weight is the only honest measure.
When in doubt, go bigger. A slightly oversized chew is safe; an undersized one is a choking hazard. Call Emily on (219) 384-1033 and describe your dog.
Where it comes from
No, we do not kill any elk or deer for their antler.
Antler is shed naturally every single year. Collectors hike miles through the Rockies each spring to find it, and we buy directly from them - which is how we can promise every antler we cut came from this season's shed.

Antler is the namesake, but it is about a quarter of what we carry.
Who makes this
An antler family that happens to make dog chews.
We're an antler family that started a pet brand - three generations, going back to the late 1970s.
We are not a pet brand that added antlers. We are an antler family that built a pet brand - and that is the whole difference. Emily answers the phone. Tony buys the antler. It has worked that way since 2017.

Common questions
What people ask us at the market
Is antler safe for my dog?
For most dogs, yes - and freshness is why. We only cut this season's shed, and newer antler is dramatically tougher and far less likely to splinter than antler that has been weathering on the ground. Always supervise your dog, and retire the chew once it wears down small enough to swallow.
Antler is a hard chew. If your dog has existing dental problems, look at our gentle chews instead.
How long will it actually last?
It varies enormously by dog. A determined 80 lb chewer will get through a large split in a few weeks; a gentle 20 lb dog might still be working on a petite months later. That is normal, and it is why we grade by weight and recommend by dog size rather than promising a number of days.
Do you kill animals for the antler?
No. Never. Elk and deer shed their antlers naturally every year - it happens whether anyone collects them or not. Shed collectors hike miles each spring to find them, and we buy directly from those collectors.
What if my dog will not touch it?
Usually a sizing or hardness problem rather than a bad chew. Get in touch and describe your dog - what they weigh, how hard they chew, what they have liked before - and we will tell you what to try instead. Nine times out of ten the answer is a different cut, not a different brand.
Why does every antler look different?
Because it is a natural product. Just like finger prints, no two antler are the same - length, diameter, color and shape all vary. What does not vary is the weight range: order a Medium and you get an antler in the Medium weight band, every time.
